MOBILearn
MOBILearn is a worldwide research and development project funded by the European Union in the 5th IST Framework Programme with the aim of implementing a context-sensitive approach to different forms of learning, such as problem-based, informal and traditional learning using mobile technology.
The MOBILearn project involves 24 partners from the European Union, Israel, Switzerland, USA and Australia.
The basic objectives of MOBILearn are
- The definition of a theory-based and empirically validated model for mobile learning arrangements.
- The development of an exemplary mobile learning architecture that is attractive for important providers in Europe and worldwide.
- The development of an exploitation model for the EU-wide use of mobile learning.
- Widespread use of the project results for all interested institutions in Europe.
