Center for Methodologies, Diagnostics and Evaluation
Overview
The Center for Methodology, Diagnostics and Evaluation (short: Center for Research Methodologies) was founded in 2006 upon recommendation of the German Science Council as a central institution of the Koblenz-Landau University. At present it is headed by Prof. Dr. Tanja Lischetzke and Prof. Dr. Manfred Schmitt (Working Unit Diagnostic, Differential and Personality Psychology, Methodology and Evaluation in Department # 8: Faculty Psychology)..
The Center for Research Methodologies fulfills tasks for the University in consultation and training on empirical research methods and on the evaluation of teaching practice.
Further it offers services for University members as well as for external customers in the following areas:
- Evaluation support of projects and an extracurricular range of educational courses and learning opportunities etc.
- Design, execution and evaluation of surveys (online or paper-based)
- valuation and reporting of previously collected data
Our team consists of scientists from the fields of empirical research methodology, psychological and pedagogical diagnostics as well as evaluation research.
