Psychologie (Bachelor of Science)
Psychologie is the science that investigates human experience and behavior in their relation to internal and external factors. The degree program integrates sub-disciplines from the fields of natural sciences, mathematics and statistics. It links empirically-based theories with areas of psychological application. The degree program is oriented on the recommendations issued by the German Psychological Society (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Psychologie, DGPs).
The Bachelor’s degree program in Psychologie is the basis for a variety of interesting professional careers in the fields of research, clinical psychology, work, occupational and organizational psychology, educational psychology, communication psychology and media psychology. It is also the prerequisite for admission to a subsequent Master’s degree program.
As the university ranking published by the Center for University Development (Centrum für Hochschulentwicklung, CHE) has confirmed, the diploma program in Psychology at Landau University is among the best with regard to the ‘overall study situation’, ‘professional relevance’ and ‘supervision’.
