Getting to the presidential office in Mainz

The President's Office is located in tower A of the two Bonifazius towers. From the main station, you can already see the building. The Presidential office is situated on the 19th and 21st floors.

By train

Get off at the main train station in Mainz. To plan your journey, you can use the timetable provided by the German railway (Deutsche Bahn).

From the station you can reach the Presidential Office, which is located in Tower A of the Bonifazius towers, on foot within a few minutes. The towers should already be within sight from the station. Just cross the station square on the left and turn into Bonifaziusstraße.

Arrival by car

Please enter Rhabanusstraße 3 in 55118 Mainz as the destination into your navigation system. If you use a route planner on the internet, it may suggest Anna-Seghers-Straße 3 instead, which will also take you to the Bonifazius towers.

From the West: from Koblenz / Bonn / Cologne

Follow motorway A 60 towards Mainz, leave the motorway at the exit Mainz-Finthen/Drais/Zentrum (keep left) and follow the sign Saarstraße / Innenstadt. At the roundabout, take the second exit towards the city center. Stay on the main road / Saarstraße. On the bridge Alicenbrücke keep left and follow the B 40. On the left hand side you will see the train station. After a few meters, follow the road to the Bonifazius towers and the car park signs.

Anna-Seghers-Platz, you will reach tower A, where the Presidential Office is located (floors 19-21).

From the East: from Würzburg / Darmstadt

Follow the motorway A 60 towards Bingen, leave the motorway at the exit Mainz-Finthen/Drais/Gonsenheim (keep left) and follow the sign Saarstraße / city center. At the roundabout, take the second exit towards the city center. Stay on the main road / Saarstraße. On the bridge Alicenbrücke keep left and follow the B 40. On the left hand side you will see the train station. After a few meters, follow the road to the Bonifazius towers and the car park signs.

From the South: from Landau / Kaiserslautern

Follow the A 63 motorway and exit at the junction Mainz-Süd onto the A 60 towards Bingen / Wiesbaden. Leave the motorway A 60 at the exit Mainz-Finthen/Drais/Zentrum (keep left) and follow the sign Saarstraße / city center. At the roundabout, take the second exit towards the city center. Stay on the main road / Saarstraße. On the bridge Alicenbrücke keep left and follow the B 40. On the left hand side you will see the train station. After a few meters, follow the road to the Bonifazius towers and the car park signs.

From the North: From Kassel

Follow the motorway A 66 to the Schiersteiner Kreuz. Change onto the A 643 towards Mainz. Follow the highway until you reach the motorway junction Mainz, where you join the A 60 towards Darmstadt. Leave the motorway at the exit Mainz-Finthen/Drais/Zentrum (keep left) and follow the sign Saarstraße / city center. At the roundabout, take the second exit towards the city center. Stay on the main road / Saarstraße. On the bridge Alicenbrücke keep left and follow the B 40. On the left hand side you will see the train station. After a few meters, follow the road to the Bonifazius towers and the car park signs.

Parking

The Presidential Office does not have its own car park. Please use the public car park at the towers.

Arrival by plane

Take the train or S-Bahn from Frankfurt airport to Mainz Central Station. The journey will take 20-30 minutes.
